Three years ago, Singhasan went missing from her family under distressing circumstances. Married off, she was soon neglected by her husband, who one day took her to Delhi without informing anyone and abandoned her on the streets. Found by the police, Singhasan, who is mentally challenged, illiterate, and unable to speak, could not communicate her plight or her identity.

Her family, desperate to find her, kept inquiring but received no assistance from her husband or the police. Coming from an impoverished background, even placing FIRs yielded no results.

Ek Khwaab Foundation became aware of Singhasan’s situation and immediately took action. We circulated her video among our volunteers in Bihar and contacted local governing bodies for assistance. Within just three days, we located Singhasan’s family and arranged for their travel from Samastipur, Bihar, to Delhi. Ek Khwaab Foundation covered all travel expenses for both sides.

The reunion was deeply emotional. Despite the significant challenges, including Singhasan's inability to speak, Ek Khwaab Foundation successfully reunited her with her family, demonstrating our commitment to reuniting families and addressing even the most challenging cases.
